1Will my existing business line work with my nbn™ connection?
Most Australians will need to move their phone services to nbn™ as the current infrastructure that serves your phone services is being switched off. We have some great business phone plans that provide you with a handset, unlimited local and national calls and business grade services from just $29 per month.
2What hardware do i need for nbn™?
Depending on what network is being rolled out in your area, will depend on what hardware you will require.

Fibre to the Node (FTTN): Requires that the modem/router be VDSL/VDSL2 compatible to Authenticate and use the network.

Fibre to the Curb (FTTC): Requires that the modem/router be VDSL/VDSL2 compatible to Authenticate and use the network

Fibre to the Basement (FTTB): Requires that the modem/router be VDSL/VDSL2 compatible to Authenticate and use the network

Fibre to the Premise (FTTP): A Router is required to use this network, any existing ADSL2+ Modem Routers that can be changed into "router mode only" can be used.

Hybrid fibre-coaxial (HFC): A Router is required to use this network, any existing ADSL2+ Modem Routers that can be changed into "router mode only" can be used.

Fixed Wireless (FW): Requires that the modem/router be VDSL/VDSL2 compatible to Authenticate and use the network
3What happens during nbn™ installation?
Again much like the hardware installation will depend on the network that's available in your location.

(FTTN/B/C):Install Lead-in cable, Telecommunications outlet or a passive NTD (if applicable), segments, etc. and/or perform jumpering to an active node.

(FTTP): Installation of Fibre from the street to the outside of your premises via an external junction box called the Premises Connection Device (PCD). Installation of a Network Termination Device (NTD) located inside your premises. Connection for a Fibre Cable from the PCD to the NTD located inside your premises. Upon completion of the above works you will be asked to sign acknowledging acceptance of the installation.

(HFC):Install Wall Outlet Equipment (including a Premises Connection Device (PCD), a wall outlet, a premises amplifier and associated power supply if applicable etc.), Network Termination Device (NTD) connecting equipment and a splitter if you need the connection to pay TV or existing cable internet services.

(FW): Installation of a Premises Connection Device (PCD). Installation of a Network Termination Device (NTD) located inside your premises. Connection for a Fibre Cable from the PCD to the NTD located inside your premises. Upon completion of the above works you will be asked to sign acknowledging acceptance of the installation.
